Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are delighted to announce that our Curriculum Evaluation in English, completed by the Divisional Inspector, Gerard Quirke, last March, has now been published.
He gave a fantastic report to the school and commended it in many areas. He observed that the overall quality of pupils’ learning was very good, with high levels of engagement and effective monitoring of progress at both class and whole-school levels. He remarked that our pupils benefited from a broad range of learning experiences and participated enthusiastically in well-structured independent and group activities. He also stated that the teaching quality was very good in Murhur NS and that the teachers demonstrated a very strong knowledge of pupils’ needs and effectively differentiated their instruction.
