A Little About Us
Located in Moyvane, Co. Kerry, is a co-educational, Catholic primary school which strives to provide a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere where the spiritual, intellectual, physical, moral and cultural needs of the pupils are fostered.
While Murhur N. S. is a school with a Catholic ethos, pupils are drawn by example and teaching to appreciate and respect people of different religious affiliations, cultures and nationalities. We cater for pupils of different educational needs, each child is supported at their own journey of learning. All of our pupils are celebrated during our Diversity Week each year.
Our school has 4 classrooms where we teach Junior and Senior Infants, First and Second Class, Third & Fourth Class, Fifth and Sixth Class. We have 4 classroom teachers and 1 SET. From September we will have our Autism Class also.
School Activities
We are a small, local school with big ambitions and the range of activities available for our kids show it. From yoga, to STEAM to music – for us education is fun first so our kids are excited to learn.

We were so fortunate to have such stunning spot prizes for our fundraiser. We would like to highlight some very kind people.
David Mahon generously sponsored 1st prize. His mother Nora was a native of the area. He spent many happy summers with the O Sullivan/O Flaherty family and wished to give back to the community that he has such happy memories of.
2nd prize was graciously sponsored by Maggie O'Flaherty and Eoin O'Flaherty.
3rd prize was very kindly sponsored by Brian Mahon of Aviva.
We are very grateful to have our defibrillator in working order again. Thank you so much to our branch of first responders who donated it. It is so important to check your batteries and pads also to make sure it is ready for use and in date.
