The boys and girls from 4th and 6th participated in the Cumann na mBunscoil football competition with two other neighbouring schools. They put the skills they learn and develop each week with the local GAA coach, John, to the test. Parents from the class also volunteer at matches to support the children and provide their own knowledge and skills about football.

An amazing display of football today was witnessed in the quarter finals of our annual Patrick Curtin Tournament. All teams showed great heart, with small numbers in a big pitch! Thanks to Mrs. O Flaherty's class who came and supported each team.
Alas only 4 teams qualified. Please come and support the semi finalists on Tuesday next in Moyvane pitch. Following on from those games, stay on for the final, it is sure to be a cracker!!!
