This year our Junior and Senior Infants had a’ fun day’ at Woody’s Fun Club in Adare. Lots of outdoor play followed by Cupcake Designing ….. 1st, 2nd and 3rd went to Tralee Bay Wetlands and the Playdium in Tralee….. 4th 5th and 6th had a very full schedule on their Dublin Tour where they visited the Wax Museum, Kilmainham Gaol, The Garden of Remembrance, Dáil Éireann -where they met some of our local TDs and ended their day with a visit to the Zoo…..

At Murhur N.S., we are committed to building a fully inclusive school where every child is valued and celebrated for their unique abilities. We are very much looking forward to opening our new Autism Class this September, which will be an important step in helping us achieve this vision.

Today we were very fortunate to have a visit from Aodán Behan, founder of the thriving Behan's Bainne Blasta. This visit was to assist us with our ongoing Farm Safety Flag initiative as well as the Junior Entrepreneur Programme that our Senior Room are currently engaging in. Aodán gave a wonderful presentation, he is such an inspiration to all our children with an interest in farming as well as those with entrepreneurial minds! Not only did he give up time in his very busy schedule, he brought lots of delicious samples for us to try! Thank you again to Aodán! No doubt you have inspired many of our pupils today!!
