For Students
Teaching Support StylesWe implement different teaching styles of support as a dynamic and interactive approach to learning that allows students to engage with concepts through a number of different ways. It could be :
- Station teaching
- Parallel teaching
- Alternative teaching with a focus group
- Withdrawl of a small group
- Individual withdrawal for one to one teaching.
Our main choice of support is in-class if at all possible. This reinforces our inclusive ethos and caters for a greater number of pupils at any given time.
The pupils enjoys peer support also from their buddies in an older class or paired and groupwork with their peers within their own room also.
“Not yet” is a mantra within the rooms when our pupils are still on their learning journey and haven’t quite mastered the topic yet.
