We make use of the nearby green areas, forest and the school field for active learning. This year we explored the local nearby green areas searching for mini-beasts and other creatures. We partner with The Local Heritage Council for these workshops.Badminton
Children from 4th and 6th participated in a Badminton blitz as part of the Kerry Badminton Primary Schools competition. This gave children the opportunity to practice their badminton skills against other schools.Dance
Children engaged in learning new dance routines during the year. The whole school came together to perform the dance routines on the school yard.Wheelie Wednesday
Pupils got the opportunity to bring in their best wheels and practice a different form of fitness on bikes, scooters and go-karts.Cross country
Pupils developed their fitness by participating in the daily mile challenges each week and also competing in the Cumann na mBunscoil competitions.Buddy Activities
